Ensuring safety through light

Located eight hours from Nairobi, Kenya’s Laikipia region suffered extensive flood damage, severely disrupting the lives of children and families. SmartAID responded to the devastating floods that affected many communities in the region, including the Maasai Mara tribe, by delivering light-focused initiatives.

SmartAID, in collaboration with DHL and Solar Buddy, has worked to ensure that children in these communities can continue their lives with some semblance of normalcy despite the challenges. Together, we delivered essential solar lights to vulnerable families, allowing children to study and eat with their families.

Our mission is driven by an unwavering commitment to the safety and future of every child. We understand that providing a safe environment for children is essential to their well-being, and we continue to prioritize strategies and support systems that enhance their security and welfare.
