Responding to the North Queensland Floods
As catastrophic floods swept through North Queensland, SmartAID mobilised to provide urgent support. With the help of our partners, we identified critical technology, matched it with the right teams on the ground, and delivered aid where it was needed most—ensuring a fast and effective response.
The damage was severe. Major roads and bridges were cut off, leaving communities isolated without power or clean water. Emergency responders—including government agencies, the military, NGOs, and local volunteers—worked tirelessly, and SmartAID stepped in to support their efforts.
Technology played a vital role in disaster relief, and this was no exception. State-of-the-art flood-cleaning technology became essential in the recovery process. Together with our partners, we deployed these resources to the hardest-hit areas.
